New Electronic Dance Party Esthetik Events to Launch in NYC

Posted on 07 July 2010

Nikola Nedeljkovic, a principal organizer behind NYC’s popular, late night, underground dance party, ReSolute, has decided to break-off and partner with Juliana Kim to form Esthetik Events.

Nedeljkovic commented in a statement that Esthetik “will result in events that will feature some of the most respected artists out there, along with up-and-coming and undiscovered talent. The summer of 2010 will see a few events on Thursday Nights.” In addition to Thursday night fun, Esthetik will also feature a number of Saturday and Sunday Day events, the organizers say.

Esthetik’s opening party will be held on Thursday, July 8th at The Delancey (168 Delancey Street between Suffolk and Clinton Streets in the Lower Eastside). The venue features a sound proof basement with a stellar sound system, and the kick-off will feature sets from: [a]pendics.shuffle (Kenneth James Gibson), Someone Else (Sean O’Neal), and Jeffrey Scott (the latter will serve as an Esthetik resident DJ, alongside Steven LeTigre).

The MST.com will be at the launch event to see how the scene is; we’re expecting it to be a refreshing new addition to Thursday late night.

For more information on the opening party or to RSVP email whatisesthetik@gmail.com.

There are $10 advanced tickets available at www.residentadvisor.net.

For future party nights, Esthetik Events intends to unveil a new website: www.whatisesthetik.com
