Made Event, the powerhouse, electronic dance music production team that brought us Electric Zoo has teamed up with A|X Armani Exchange for a new venture at the 2,100-capacity, Nokia Theatre in Times Square. The two firms will host a new series of parties in 2010, aimed at injecting new energy into the New York nightlife. The companies promise partygoers concert-style production values, but with an intimate club vibe. The series kicks off with Netherlands superstar, Ferry Corsten, and Swedish up-in-comer, John Dahlbäck, on February 12. According to Made Event, The electronic music events will dazzle revelers with top-notch sound, lighting, and visual effects, in addition to expert staging and cutting-edge sets.
Made Event’s Laura De Palma and Mike Bindra commented on the Nokia project: “We’re excited about bringing our events and production into a new space. The Nokia Theatre will elevate the nightlife experience and provide the best of both worlds – an authentic club vibe juxtaposed with first-rate big stage production values.”
