I had heard about resolute a while a go but never had the chance to go…until last Saturday. Arriving at the non-descript door in the Lower East Side you were politely chaperoned in an elevator up to a higher level. Once upstairs, you were greeted by the friendly door staff taking cash to cover the security and extremely talented DJ list. So far so good, however the true magic began once inside the protected den. There were three large tents set up in the expansive hall for you to explore. Each one had a different vibe.
After popping my head in all three, I settled on the one full of French expats living the European dream. As drinks were enjoyed and broken conversation exchanged, you would have thought we had been friends for years. Then after we all felt the perfect buzz, we floated into the crowd of dancers to make more friends with strangers. The DJ’s were excellent (as can be expected of the high-calibre line-up) and before i knew it I was descending back into reality, at a time well beyond the usual walk of shame. If you do not go to the next one you are crazy.The line up was as follows:

The holiday season has officially begun, and for those of you already overwhelmed at the inevitable holiday bustle, we at reSOLUTE have a few opportunities for you to escape all the ruckus and start your own wild rumpus!
On Saturday, December 12th we have a few celebrations of our own. This will be our last reSOLUTE in 2009, and we’ll be celebrating the birthday of one of the N’s! So come kick up those heels with bells on at our year-end bash & be sure to give Nikola his birthday kisses & best holiday wishes 
Next up, keep an eye out for our exciting New Years plans, which will kick start in early January in sunny Mexico (details about this event to come!.
For now though, because we want to do the damn thang, and we want to do it right, we’ve come up with an absolutely stellar line-up, perfect for the last affair we’ll host in 2009. Simon Baker will be returning to NYC bringing his oh-so-sexy techy beats. Accompanying Simon is his mate from Leeds-Burnski-who has been stirring up EDM waters with his excellent production and fantastic DJ skills. Wrapping things up with his own brand of holiday cheer is Mr. Vincenzo, straight from chilly Berlin. This gentleman has released on all of the greatest labels around and has done remixes for some of the most popular artists out there. Adding a bow to the perfect present will be our resident Connie.
For the last party of the season we wanted to take things over the top, so we decided to label this event our very first reSOLUTE – Sex Drive!
